What we keep and why.
Updated Oct 24, 2026
The Analyst Desk keeps the least it needs to run your account. We don't sell data, show ads or share your holdings with anyone.
What we store
- Your email address, and your Google account's name and email if you sign in with Google.
- The tickers you follow, the analyses you ask for, and when.
- Holdings you enter: ticker, shares and cash.
- Your plan. Card details go to Stripe and never reach us.
Who processes it
- Supabase hosts the database and handles sign-in.
- Stripe takes payments and keeps billing records.
- Resend sends our emails: sign-in links, finished analyses and the morning brief.
- Vercel and Railway run the site and the analysis service. Vercel also counts page visits, with no cookies and nothing that identifies you.
- OpenRouter passes prompts to the AI models that write the analyses. On Max, the position note prompt includes that holding's numbers (weight, gain or loss, share of risk), with no name or email attached.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
Your choices
You can delete holdings and tickers at any time. To delete your account and everything tied to it, email hello@theanalystdesk.com from the address you signed up with and we'll do it within 30 days. Stripe keeps payment records for as long as tax law requires.
